KR Bluegrass

has been performing at festivals, churches and local venues since 2008. The bandís bluegrass sound comes from the close harmonies of guitarist, Kathy Dahl, and fiddler, Rose Seeger,  along with the classic Earl Scruggís style banjo picking of Mike Greylak and bass player, Marlis Petrovic. Much of their music has been influenced by the sweet harmonies of the Stanley Brothers, Osborne Brothers, the Carter and Cox families and Ricky Skaggs.

The KR Bluegrass mission is to preserve the traditional bluegrass and gospel sounds and bring this sound, enjoyment and memories evoked, to our audience
